About Drea K

Andrea Kim’s gift for tailoring has been developed since a very young age. Growing up, she helped her family run their textile and clothing manufacturing businesses in downtown LA’s Fashion District. During her spare time, she took drawing and fashion classes at nearby’s FIDM, and eventually started designing her own clothes, with a special interest in wedding dresses. She eventually made her way up north to beautiful Washington State where she continued pursuing her passion of tailoring personalized dresses and working with brides from all walks of life. To date, she has tailored over 1000 dresses since opening Drea K and remembers each one by heart. In her opinion, the fitting day is the most gratifying part of the profession; seeing the bride’s reaction trying the dress for the very first time is the reason why she loves her work and will continue doing so in the long haul.
